PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
T. Rowe Price's Investment Fellowship Program offers college undergraduate students within mathematics, engineering, and the sciences a challenging opportunity in the financial industry. Under this program fellows will receive training and experience in investment tasks (i.e., quantitative research and analysis, trading research and analysis, and decision and research support). Fellows accepted into this program will have direct "hands-on" involvement within the TRP investment organization.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Rotate approximately every 6 months for up to 2 years across the following TRP Business Units
*Trading / Portfolio Modeling (Equity and Fixed Income)
*Quantitative Research - Equity , Fixed Income, Asset Allocation , Retirement Income
*Investment Front Office Services
2. Use current analytical /quantitative skills by working across various TRP Business Units further developing knowledge / skills in :
*Financial Modeling
*Portfolio Analysis / Portfolio Attribution / Portfolio Construction
*Asset Allocation
*Quantitative analysis / research
*Buy Side Trading / Algorithmic Trading / Program Trading
*Risk Analysis
*Competitive Analysis and Market Intelligence
*Technical Solution Implementation
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
*Must be a college senior who will be graduating May 2013.
*Must be majoring in one of the following areas or have at least a minimum of 24 credit hours in related courses
*Engineering
*Applied Mathematics
*Computer Science
*Physics
*Analytical Skills
*Logical Skills
*Technical Skills
*Strong Communication Skills

The Graduate School at the University of Maryland, College Park, invites your juniors and seniors to its 17th Annual Graduate School Preview Day on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Preview Day will be held on campus in the Colony Ballroom of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to interact with representatives of our outstanding graduate programs here at the University of Maryland. They will also learn about the processes for applying to graduate schools and financing their graduate education.
