Good evening,

This is just a quick note to let you know that, as in previous years, APS will be offering travel awards to students who are presenting at the APS March and April Meetings in Baltimore and Denver.

We will get more details on the awards up on the website shortly—however, students must have an abstract submitted to the meeting in order to be eligible for the award.  The deadline for Abstract submission to the APS March meeting is this Friday, November 9.  So if your students have not yet submitted their abstracts to the March Meeting, please encourage them to do so by Friday if they intend to apply for travel funding.

Also, if your students wish to have their presentations judged at the meeting, and receive feedback as well as a certificate recognizing their participation, they will need to submit their abstracts in Category 25.1 – SPS Undergraduate Research.

More details on the Future of Physics Days events at APS March and April will be made available soon.  In the meantime, if you have any further questions at this time, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best,

Crystal
